Collaboration

Flock is collaborative. Your friends list lives in the sidebar's Friends tab: who's online, how many agents they're flying, and three actions on every online friend: watch, hand off, co-pilot. All of it keys off flock IDs, so it works across companies, networks, and time zones with zero setup.

Adding friends

One box, two behaviors. Type a handle and they get a friend request to accept or decline. Type an email: if it belongs to a flock user, same thing; if not, flock emails them an invite, and the moment they sign up with that address you're connected automatically (and your referral counts). Requests, accepts, and session invitations all land live in the notification bell at the top, so nothing depends on catching a toast.

Observe: watch an agent live

Click the eye on an online friend and they get a request to share. If they accept, their focused agent's terminal streams into a read-only workspace on your side, marked LIVE, sized and painted exactly as they see it. Use it for reviewing a teammate's agent run, pairing on a gnarly debug, or just learning how someone else drives their agents. Either side ends it anytime: close the observe workspace, or the owner closes the pane; streaming stops immediately.

Task handoff: put work in a friend's hands

The arrow sends a task: you write the brief, they get a card with the text and one button that matters, Take it. On accept, the prompt is typed straight into their focused agent; if they have no agent running, flock spawns a fresh one carrying your brief as its opening prompt. You're notified the moment they accept or decline. It's the fastest way to route work to the person whose machine, checkout, or context is right for it.

Co-pilot: one workspace, two pilots

The double arrow invites a friend into a shared workspace. Both of you can spawn agents in it, and every pane is visible to both sides, live. Panes you own carry a mint @you chip; your partner's carry a blue chip with their handle, so ownership is always legible at a glance.

Co-pilot goes further than watching: you can type into each other's panes. Focus a partner pane (badged SHARED) and your keystrokes land in their agent's real terminal. Collaborate on a single agent together, interrupting and steering in turns, or fly separate agents side by side while watching everything. Closing the co-pilot workspace ends the session for both sides cleanly.

Presence & boundaries

Presence is ambient: friends see online/offline and an agent count, never content. Nothing streams without an explicit accept, observe streams are strictly read-only, and typed input is only possible in co-pilot workspaces both sides opted into. Every request expires after 45 seconds if ignored, and expiry declines it.
